Alvescot is a village and civil parish in the West Oxfordshire district of Oxfordshire, just south of Carterton.
Alvescot is an attractive village, consisting mainly of period houses and cottages, together with the Church of St Peter which dates from the 13th century. Lying mid-way between Lechlade and Burford, the whole village is designated a Conservation Area.
