Stenton Cottage sits in the very heart of Bampton upon Bridge Street and offers a wealth of character with beams, stripped doors and fireplaces. With this character also comes a very practical home that boasts two Reception Rooms and a well-fitted Kitchen-Breakfast Room with bay window. The Sitting Room has a triple aspect and feature fireplace with log burner with the Dining Room again having a feature fireplace. There is a generous Cloakroom and very useful Utility Room with access to the gardens. The first floor landing is spacious and split level giving access to all the 3 Bedrooms (two of which are doubles) and there is also a re-fitted Bathroom with white suite. Outside the property again excels with a superb private walled garden being c.50’ x 30’ and south westerly facing. The garden has an abundance of plants and shrubs together with mature trees including feature pear and fig trees. Another major external feature to this property is the brick built Studio/Workshop that has been a Potter's Studio which has power, heating, light, water and gardens views. This could become a delightful 'work from home' office space. The gardens are well-cared for with colourful raised box beds, a Greenhouse and useful storage shed. To the side of the cottage is a pedestrian access from the gardens onto Bridge Street itself where on street parking can be found with no restrictions although not allocated. If you are seeking a character home with amenities within walking distance and beautiful countryside walks close by - Stenton Cottage is simply wonderful especially with the added benefit of the outdoor Studio therefore early viewing is highly advised.
